The feeling of thermal discomfort translates into: a reduction in attention and concentration, an increase in the number of made mistakes, an increase in the number of accidents, and thus a deterioration of the efficiency and quality of work. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the problem of thermal comfort among surgeons and medical personnel. It has been proposed to use a local cooling device to improve the perception of thermal comfort.
