About the Journal

INSTAL (ISSN 1640-8160) is a monthly engineering magazine for the building services (HVAC and sanitary) sector, aimed primarily at engineers, industry practitioners and academic staff. Since 1983, it has published content on, among other topics, heat and energy sources (including renewables and energy efficiency), ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration, as well as water supply and sewerage systems, including wastewater treatment and its energy recovery/use. The magazine also covers industrial installations, discussions of regulations and standards, and information on industry events (trade fairs, conferences). Articles are peer-reviewed with reviewer anonymity maintained.

Authors publishing in INSTAL receive 70 points according to the Polish Ministry of Education and Science’s list of journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences (appendix to the MNiSzW Communication of 5 January 2024, item 29929).
