Impact assessment of strategic water main exclusion

Abstract

The main aim of this work is to analyze the consequences of strategic water main failure in a city. The high rank of the pipe due to the fact that it transports tap water into a special economic zone, which houses dozens of businesses, offices and production halls. Assessment of the effects of the water main failure was carried out using a hydraulic model of the water supply network. Based on the results of failures analyzed, the implications of the lack of water supply in the economic zone were identified.
