Abstract

The article discusses issues related to the storage of works of art in exhibition halls and storage facilities in museums. Reference was made to the method of determining the required relative humidity and air temperature values, referring to two methods: conservation standards and historical climate analysis. The destructive effect of air with incorrect parameter values, mainly relative humidity, on stored collections was described. Recommended values of air parameters in accordance with conservation standards were also quoted
