Proper design of the drinking water installation requires proper assessment the head loss in all of its elements. The most common fittings used in plumbing are elbows, therefore, it is essential to know the actual value of the minor loss coefficient ζ. The paper presents the methodology and results of experimental determination of the minor loss coefficient of 90o elbow made of exemplary AlPEX drinking water installation.
