The Monitoring system for fan mills intended for direct application in a power plant system, in the form of software that is a tool supporting safe operation, consumption control, as well as in the field of repair planning, has been presented in the paper. The software performs the following operational functions for each mill: online calculation of the remaining lifetime of beater mill unit, forecast of further safe operation and the expected date of repair, as well as archiving and visualization of selected device operating parameters and wear factors in operational periods. Also, the assumptions and results of the algorithm used, as well as experience from the operation of software has been presented in the paper.
