Abstract

The publication presents an original method of using a regulating throttling element as a measuring system for determining the fluid flow in industrial installations. The measuring system being tested is technologically advanced, which allows for automatic selection of the measuring system setting. In order to reduce investment costs, a mechanical selection system can be used. To obtain the appropriate flow at the measuring element settings, it is necessary to use an appropriate control valve with appropriate control characteristics.
