Article Processing Charge

Due to open access (OA) to scientific articles, an article processing charge is collected from authors. For publications in Polish, the fee is PLN 1,450 + 23% VAT, and for submissions in English it is PLN 1,350 + 23% VAT (~320 EURO). The publication fee is currently paid after the article has been accepted for publication, via bank transfer. The Publisher issues a VAT invoice.

Sales Regulations

  1. The subject of sale is the publication of a scientific article in the journal Instal, provided by Częstochowa University of Technology, Faculty of Infrastructure and Environment, ul. J.H. Dąbrowskiego 69, 42-201 Częstochowa, VAT ID (NIP): 573-011-14-01.
  2. The fee covers: implementing corrections, editorial processing, DTP typesetting and layout, operation of the electronic publishing platform, digitization, and indexing of articles in databases. The fee may be paid by the author directly or via the author’s employer.
  3. The fee is paid before the article is published in the journal and after it has been accepted by reviewers and editors. After payment, the article is published on the journal’s website and in the printed version of the journal.
  4. If the author withdraws the article from publication after payment has been made, the amount will be refunded to the payer’s account, reduced by the costs incurred for processing the article (e.g., language editing).
  5. The submitting author has the right to file a complaint if they consider that the publishing services were performed improperly or not in accordance with their intention. Complaints must be submitted in writing and will be processed within 14 days.
  6. The service is provided electronically and the agreement is concluded at the moment the article is submitted for publication; the agreement ends when the article is published on the website and in the printed version of the journal.
  7. Personal data are confidential and will not be used for purposes unrelated to the publication of the article.
