Archive stores are located in historic buildings. Unfortunately, incorrect indoor air parameters (e.g. temperature, relative humidity), as well as their fast and sudden change in time, may destroy stored archives. Due to concerns about not keeping indoor air parameters within recommended range, research was undertaken to determine the actual situation in archive stores located in a historic building. The article discusses the results of research conducted in the summer, the period of the most disturbing values of air parameters in the archives’ stores. Also the analysis of their compliance with conservation standards was conducted.
