In the current paper national experiences within the area of design and manufacturing of low power steam turbines (up to 400 kW) for distributed power generation are described, in relation to turbines available on the market. Our original constructions have been appropriately addressed, including computational possibilities and manufacturing conditions. We also demonstrate cost estimates for producing such machines.
