The role of the operators of collective water supply systems (CWSS) is crucial in terms of the security and continuity of water supplies. Any tool supporting his work and decision-making process should be simple and easy to use and interpret. Logical tree methods for analyzing the reasons for the occurrence of a given emergency and analyzing possible post-failure scenarios are an intuitive tool that gives quick answers. The paper presents an application example of using logical trees to support the work of an operator for a selected collective water supply system
