Abstract

A list of possible causes of failures of the sewage transport system under the Vistula River in Warsaw at the end of August 2019 and 2020 was presented. The errors leading to the failures were categorized into design, construction, and operational issues. The primary reasons for both failures were identified as design errors and deviations from the original design project, along with construction errors.
