Conditions for the effective operations of solar hot domestic water production systems

The article is a continuation of the article “Efficiency of domestic hot water production in a district heating substation cooperating with the solar collector installation” published in issue 6/2024, which includes, among others, general conditions for the proper functioning of solar hot water production systems cooperating with district heating substations. This article discusses the schematic diagrams of solar installations that can properly cooperate with a district heating substation powered from the municipal heating network. It also draws attention to inaccuracies in the solar installation diagrams offered on the market, which may significantly reduce the efficiency of hot water preparation systems.
