The publication presents the methodology and research position on the internal tightness of valves for hydrogen installations. The test valve was characterized by the possibility of replacing the fitting. The fittings were made of plastic composites and their shape (side branch) was designed and manufactured with a view to ensuring the correct basic control characteristics. The paper presents tests of three fittings – different composite materials with the same design. The result of the publication is the presentation of internal tightness for the considered valve fittings for hydrogen valves and their ranking in terms of tightness quality.
