Open Access Policy
The journal “Zeszyty Naukowe Politechniki Częstochowskiej. Zarządzanie / Research Reviews of Czestochowa University of Technology. Management” follows an Open Access model in accordance with the principles of open science and international standards of transparency in scholarly publishing.
All articles published in the journal are made available in Open Access, which means that the full texts of publications are publicly available, free of charge, and without time restrictions immediately after publication. Access to the content does not require registration, login, or any payment by readers.
The aim of the Open Access policy is to ensure broad access to research results, increase the visibility of publications, support the free exchange of knowledge, and promote the scientific achievements of authors publishing in the journal.
Scope of Open Access
Under the Open Access policy:
• full texts of articles are made available on the journal’s website,
• access to articles is free of charge for all users,
• the journal does not apply any embargo period,
• readers are not required to register or log in to access the content,
• articles may be read, downloaded, copied, printed, shared, and linked to, provided that proper citation rules, copyright provisions, and the terms of the applicable licence are respected.
Copyright and Licensing
Authors publishing in the journal retain copyright to their articles. The journal obtains the right of first publication and the right to disseminate the article in electronic and printed form.
Articles published in the journal are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated for a particular article. This licence allows users to copy, distribute, adapt, and use the work, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s), the source of publication is indicated, the licence is acknowledged, and any changes made to the work are clearly marked.
Information about the licence should be included both on the article webpage and in the PDF version of the article.
Self-Archiving and Sharing of Articles
Authors may deposit and share the published version of their article in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, scientific databases, university websites, and their academic profiles, provided that full bibliographic information, the DOI number, and a link to the journal’s website are included.
Archiving and Long-Term Access
The journal undertakes measures to ensure long-term access to published content through:
• publication of articles on the journal’s website,
• assignment of DOI numbers to articles,
• digital archiving of published materials,
• enabling the indexing and storage of metadata and full texts in databases, catalogues, repositories, and academic search engines.
Fees and Open Access
Access to articles published in the journal is free of charge for readers.
Publication of an article may be subject to a publication fee / Article Processing Charge (APC) in accordance with the current fee policy of the journal. The publication fee is payable only after receiving the official acceptance decision from the Editorial Board.
The amount of the fee and payment rules are provided on the journal’s website. Payment of the publication fee has no influence on the peer review process or editorial decision. Decisions on manuscript acceptance are based solely on scientific quality, relevance to the journal’s scope, overall quality of the manuscript, and the results of the peer review process.
Compliance with Open Science Principles
The Open Access policy of the journal is consistent with the principles of open science, whose aim is to increase access to research results, support transparency in scholarly communication, and enable the broad use of scientific publications by the academic community, business practitioners, public institutions, and all interested readers.
